The Wilkes County Board of Education is seeking bids from qualified individuals and firms to provide erosion control work at Wilkes Central High School, 1179 Moravian Falls Road, Wilkesboro, NC 28697 and Central Wilkes Middle School, 3541 S. NC Hwy. 16, Moravian Falls, NC 28654. Project specifications may be obtained by contacting the Director of Facilities and Construction. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any minor informality in the bid process, and to accept the proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the school district. Questions are to be submitted in writing not later than 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 to Bergie Speaks, Director of Maintenance, at speaksb@wilkes.k12.nc.us.
