Renovation of a municipal facility in Corpus Christi, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 169,000-square-foot, four-story above grade municipal facility.
A fire alarm contractor is required to provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, supplies, and supervision necessary to design and fully replace the existing fire alarm system with a new fire alarm, voice communication, and evacuation system for a four-story, approximately 169,000-sq-ft facility. The contractor must be licensed in the State of Texas to install fire alarm systems. All equipment must be new, of the same manufacturer and current model, and must be serviceable by at least three independent authorized fire alarm contractors within 250 miles of the project site. Known manufacturers able to meet these requirements include Siemens Building Technologies, EST, and Notifier. Project completion is anticipated to take approximately 365 days, and award of any future procurement will be based on a Best Value source-selection method. Location: Corpus Christi Federal Courthouse, 1133 N. Shoreline Blvd., Corpus Christi, TX 78401. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
