Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check or acceptable Bid Bond payable to D'Arbonne Water System, Inc. in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid amount as a guarantee that, if awarded the Contract, the Bidder will promptly enter into a contract and execute such bonds as may be required. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond for the full amount of the Contract in accordance with Article 5 of the General Conditions. In addition, the successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Labor and Material Payment Bond for the Contract in accordance with Article 5 of the General Conditions. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, as provided for in LA R.S. 38:2214(B). Document note description: .In accordance with R.S. 38:2212(D), deposits on the first set of documents furnished to bona fide prime bidders will be fully refunded upon return of the documents; deposits on any additional sets will be refunded less the actual costs of reproduction. Refunds will be made upon return of the documents in good condition within ten days after receipt of bids.
