TIMELINE: Request for Proposals has been extended; owner is seeking the services of a Prime Consultant and team with demonstrated experience in natatorium design, construction, and operations to complete a pre-feasibility study. The objective is to create a strategic capital investment plan for the Lakewood Civic Centre facility, including project execution prioritization and a long-term projection for major operational needs, system renewals, and mandated upgrades. This study will provide a comprehensive assessment to identify deficiencies, unmet code requirements, and other necessary updates to support both current and future facility needs. It will support City staff in determining required replacements, repairs, and operational improvements, as well as identifying areas needing remedial work.
