The City of Statesboro is seeking bids from qualified contractors to complete the Fire Station Access Road project. This will include clearing, excavating, layout and setting grade, concrete forming, concrete pouring, concrete pipe installation, grading and dressing of job site, asphalt paving, and traffic striping.This project will consist of constructing the fire station access road as well as stormwater, water and sanitary sewer infrastructure. The access road will be paved and have curb and gutter and sidewalk. This road and cul-de-sac creates a safe turnaround for fire, EMS, and sanitation to access and service this street effectively. All work to be performed under this project must be substantially complete within 90 consecutive calendar days, and punch list items for final acceptance will be allotted 30 days, for a total of 120 consecutive calendar days following receipt of the Notice to Proceed. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid.
