Swaby Lobeline MR135 Pump for EWPP 2 each - Swaby Lobeline MR135 Pump Package The vendor shall supply and install the pumps and all components. Houston Water, Drinking Water Operations Service Line maintenance staff will furnish all supervision and facilities necessary to assist in removing the existing pumps and installing the new ones in place. 2.1 Swaby Lobeline MR135 Pump Package 2.1.1 Make: Swaby Lobeline 2.1.2 Model: MR135 - Positive Displacement Pump, Rotary Lobe pump 2.1.3 Size: 135-gpm 2.1.4 Speed: 100-rpm 2.1.5 Pump Material: Stainless Steel housing, ductile iron rotor and gear cases, and Urethane rotors 2.1.6 Each package includes: o (1) Motor, 15 hp, 1800 rpm, TEFC, 460/3/60, inverter duty, 10:1 Constant Torque, C Face close coupled to a gear reducer o (1) right angle drive gear reducer with C Face motor bracket o (1) flexible coupling with coupling guard o (1) fabricated baseplate continuous under pump and gear reducer o Factor String Test including pump, motor, gear reducer, coupling, and baseplate 2.1.7 Spare Parts and Special Tools Package include: o 4-rotors: sinusoidal/single-shaft, 316L SS, ~7 in OD o 4-radial wear plates: 316L SS o 4-axial wear plates: 316L SS, nut torque = 80 ft.lb o 2-sets of packing: shaft sealing packing kit = rings, O-rings, gaskets, nuts, washer, etc. Typical materials: PTFE braided packing, graphite/PTFE blend, or OEM seal cartridges o 1-set of special tools: hooked removal tools, seal pullers, alignment pins, and torque guides designed for safe, efficient removal and installation of MR-series pump liners and seals without causing damage. 2.1.8 Pressure Range: 50 - 150 psi. Preferably 52 psi. 2.1.9 Temperature Range: -40F to 400F 2.1.10 Viscosity: up to 1 million CPS 2.1.11 Solids Content: 18% 2.1.12 Maximum Pressure: 150 psi 2.1.13 Liquid Flow: 440.0 GPM 2.1.14 Discharge Pressure: 145.0 psi (102 m of Water) 2.1.15 Suction and Discharge Connections: 6" ANSI flanges 2.1.16 Media: Liquids, Liquids with Solids 2.1.17 Superior Suction: Capable of pulling vacuum lifts to 30 feet of water (28" Hg), enabling processors to pump highly viscous products and virtually eliminate cavitation noise. 2.1.18 Alternatives: No other alternatives will be accepted. EWPP prefers Swaby pumps to replace the existing 6" double disc (Model 6DDSX107) pumps due to its capacity for pumping high-viscosity fluids and slurries over long distances or under difficult conditions. It is ideal for handling large particles in drinking water treatment before centrifugation due to its non-clogging design, high efficiency, durability, and ability to reduce centrifuge load while maintaining water quality. Full replacement is necessary to improve system efficiency, minimize downtime, and reduce maintenance costs. 2.2 Quantity 2.2.1 (2) pump/motor packages 2.2.2 (1) Spare parts and special tools package 2.3 LABOR 2.3.1 The vendor shall supply and install the pumps and all components.
