Site work for a water / sewer project in East Brady, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Contract No. W-01 Well No. 1 Sanitary Well Cap the Scope of Work for Contract No. W-01 Includes the Modification and Installation of a Sanitary Seal Well Cap for East Brady Borough's Well Number 1 to Meet the Design Standards Set Forth in the Padep Public Water Supply Manual; Cut and Weld Existing Steel Well Casing. Work Includes Installation of a Modified, Flanged Watertight Cap to Be Bolted to the Well Casing, the Cap Will Include Threaded Ports for the Existing Well Pump, Conduit, Vent, Level Transducer and Inspection Port; and All Necessary Appurtenances and Restoration for Said Construction. Proposals Must Be Upon the Forms Furnished by the Borough. The Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the Amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the Bid, Made Payable to the Borough of East Brady to Guarantee the Bidder's Entrance Into the Contract if Given the Award Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates Apply. The Borough Shall (a) Award the Construction Contract to the Lowest Responsible Bidder Therefore, or (B) Reject All Bids Received Within Ninety (90) Days of the Date of Bid Opening; Provided, However, That the Borough May, in Its Sole Discretion, Delay Such Award or Rejection for Up to ONE Hundred Twenty (120) Days From the Bid Opening Date Until the Borough Has Received All Required Approvals From Other Governmental Agencies. Attention is Directed to the Fact That Procurement is Subject to All Requirements of the Pennsylvania "Steel Products Procurement Act, Act No. 1978-3"; and for Contract Value Exceeding $25,000, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act of 1961 P.l. 987), and the Public Works Employment Verification Act (July 2012) Apply.
