The project involves the construction of one 250,000-gallon ground level steel water storage tank. Bids for the project will only be accepted electronically through QuestCDN.com. Bidders must obtain the Bidding Documents from QuestCDN.com and be listed as a Plan Holder of record at the Issuing Office. The Bid must be accompanied by Bid security equal to 10% of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. Bidders must comply with all labor laws, including the Prevailing Wage Act and employment requirements for Illinois laborers if there is excessive unemployment. Contractors must comply with all specified regulations and acts, such as the Davis-Bacon Act, the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act, the Illinois Works Jobs Program, the Build America, Buy America Act, and policies regarding the use of disadvantaged business enterprises. All Bids shall be subject to acceptance for 145 days after the bid opening. The Village of Rockdale reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive any technicality, and accept any Bid deemed advantageous.
