Through this Invitation To Bid (IFB), the District is seeking to identify one or more vendors who can most fully meet the needs of the District as specified in this document and any associated attachments. SCOPE: The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following: RTU-1, RTU-2, RTU-3, RTU-4, RTU-5, RTU-6, RTU-7, and RTU-8. Existing roof curbs shall remain to support new units. Additionally, new vibration isolation rails shall be installed. Included is electrical support for new equipment, including replacement of disconnect switches, conduit and wiring as required to support new equipment. Reworking existing gas piping and supports as required to support new equipment is included. Install new duct/smoke detectors for each unit. Provide a wall mounted accessible key test switch for each smoke detection device. Switch shall be labeled and mounted within each space it serves. Rooftop Units and Controls - existing controls in the building are Trane. Controls to be pre-purchased by Chesapeake Public Schools. All Architectural support shall be designed within the project.
