Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fargo, North Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The purpose of the project is to install new pavement markings for safer road conditions, for both motorists and pedestrians alike. Any questions or comments regarding this solicitation should be submitted to Jeremy Gorden or Nick Askew at jgorden@fargond.gov or naskew@fargond.gov. Duties will include installing new 3M tape pavement markings as noted on attached plan sheets. The bid sheet is also attached, which lists each item needed for project, and its estimated quantities. Unit prices need to be rounded to nearest hundredth, not thousandth. Payments to contractor can be as frequent as every two weeks. There is no bid bond or contract bond necessary for this work. Liquidated damages per our City of Fargo Standard Specifications will NOT apply to this project. Please provide two points of contact from the company that will coordinate with City staff. The points of contact information shall include a work phone number and/or cell phone number, and an e-mail address. There will be no preconstruction meeting for this work. There are 30 different sites specified on the plan sheets for pavement marking replacement. Quantities for each location will vary and will be determined by the project inspector in the field. The work under this section consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to install permanent pavement markings at the locations shown on the plans and as directed by the Engineer. Permanent pavement markings include, but are not limited to: Water-based traffic paint Preformed plastic pavement marking tape Preformed thermoplastic pavement markings Epoxy pavement marking paint Durable methacrylate pavement markings Glass beads and reflective media All pavement markings shall be installed in accordance with these Specifications, the project plans, applicable standard drawings, and the manufacturers recommendations. Provide white, yellow, white-contrast, or yellow-contrast retroreflective pavement marking tape designed for recessed installation on asphalt or concrete pavements. There is no bid bond or contract bond necessary for this work
