Site work and new construction of a civil project in Richmond Hill, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

The work includes the construction of a new booster pump station along Cuyler Road and I-16 East in Bryan County, Georgia. The booster pump station will house four water booster pumps, each operating at 3,680 gpm, with three phased active pumps and one standby pump for redundancy. Work also includes new 4" drain pipe, a 30" magnetic flow meter, a gravel access drive, 46 linear feet of 18" reinforced concrete storm piping (RCP), and 87 linear feet of 30" PVC water main. Electrical work shall include an on-site generator, transformer, and docking station. Bidders must obtain documents from the designated issuing office to be included on the plan holder list and allowed to submit bids. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier's check not less than 5% of the base bid, with bonds from a surety company licensed in Georgia, and performance and payment bonds each equal to 100% of the contract price for the successful bidder. The successful bidder will be required to comply with federal, state, and local regulations including the Clean Water Act, the Build America, Buy America Act, and the American Iron and Steel provision. Special provisions are necessary for certain wildlife encounters as outlined in the contract documents. A Utility Contractor (UC) License will be required for this project. The Bryan County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to cancel the solicitation or reject any and all proposals in whole or in part. Following the Pre-Bid Conference will be a visit to the Project Site. The Pre Bid Conference is not mandatory for the potential Bidders.
