Site work for a water / sewer project in Sinton, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
Bids are invited for the Wastewater Improvements Project - Phase 1 with the following work: approximately 2,000 linear feet of 10-inch pipe bursting, rehabilitation of approximately 17 wastewater manholes, and relocation/reroute of an existing 6-inch sanitary force main. Bid and contract documents, including drawings and technical specifications, can be obtained by depositing $50.00 with the Engineer, refundable if the documents are returned in good condition within 10 days following the bid opening. A 5 percent bid bond or an equivalent certified check, bank draft, or negotiable U.S. government bonds is required for bids exceeding $100,000. The project is financed with assistance from the General Land Office under the HUD Community Development Block Grant - Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) program and is subject to all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, including payment of prevailing Davis-Bacon wage rates and non-discrimination requirements. All contractors and subcontractors must be cleared (not suspended or debarred) before contract award. Minority, small, women, veteran-owned businesses, Section 3 businesses, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit bids. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informalities. Bids may be held for up to 90 days while qualifications are reviewed. All contractors/subcontractors must not be debarred or suspended from participation in SAM.gov. Question Deadline 03/30/2026 Each request for clarification shall be made in writing to the Grant Recipient or engineer no less than seven (7) days prior to the bid opening.
