The City has undergone an extensive infrastructure renewal program and is in the process of multiple full street rehabilitation projects. Part of the rehabilitation process is the installation of curb, gutter and sidewalk. The city is looking for a proponent to prepare and install approximately 1700m of concrete curb and gutter, as well as approximately 900m of concrete sidewalk. The services will comprise of repairs for Concrete Curb, Gutter and Sidewalk, including: (i) Preparation of base and base materials (as per MMCD Specifications) (ii) Installation of forms for curbs (to be inspected and approved by city) (iii) Pour and place concrete for curbs (as per MMCD Specifications) (iv) Establish curb letdowns per drawings, or stakes laid out by city (v) Installation of form for sidewalk (to be inspected and approved by city) (vi) Pour and place concrete for sidewalk (as per MMCD Specifications) (vii) Protect concrete during curing process (hoarding may be required) (viii) Concrete to be broom finished and sealed (as per MMCD Specifications) (ix) Supply and install any and all backfill materials (x) Adjustments requirements for any Catchbasins must be noted prior to and brought to the City's attention.
