Renovation of a theater / auditorium in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.
The purpose of this request is to provide the City of Sioux Falls with formal bids for Orpheum Building Improvements-Center Lobby Renovations. This project is estimated at $711,161 and will be funded with CIP No. 13002. Deadline to submit Questions Online Portal pn-BS25030 A. The Orpheum Theater will be fully occupied during the time period of this Project; coordination of work in public areas shall be deemed critical. i. Any/all work performed in public areas must be segregated from the public by barriers that are placed to keep the public out of the work areas. ii. Maintain exits as required by building code and the City of Sioux Falls. iii. Maintain egress paths from Foyer 110 and North Lobby 119 through South Lobby 101 and Vestibule 100 when the Orpheum Theater 118, Anne Zabel 112, or Classroom 109 are in use. Also maintain the egress path from Foyer 110 to the exterior through Corridor 110A. Coordinate with the Owner's schedule. Clean-up the construction area to allow a clear egress path at the end of every work day and during daytime events as coordinated with the Owner. iv. Construction traffic is not allowed through North Lobby 119 and Foyer 132, also referred to as the historic lobby, except on days noted. Pre-Bid Meeting 03/02/2026 at 11:00 AM
