A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Sealed bid proposals are requested for the Mountain Brook High School re-roofing projects, specifically BID PACKAGE-A: Fine Arts Center Re-Roofing and BID PACKAGE-B: Competition Gymnasium Re-Roofing. The work involves re-roofing designated buildings at Mountain Brook High School. Bids must include the general contractor's license number and type on the outside of each bid envelope. A cashier's check or bid bond of at least five percent of the bid amount (not exceeding $10,000) must accompany proposals. Successful bidders will be required to provide performance and payment bonds and evidence of insurance as outlined in the bid documents. A mandatory pre-bid conference for both packages will be held at the project site to review the scope and answer questions. Only bids from general contractors who attend the pre-bid conference will be accepted.
