Site work for a water / sewer project in Pocatello, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work includes the rehabilitation of 1,296 feet of 8-inch and 2,910 feet of 12-inch diameter existing sanitary sewer pipes with Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) installation. The work also includes cleaning, closed circuit television (CCTV) inspection, cutting off protruding laterals, lateral reinstatement, bypass pumping, traffic control, and other associated work. The project is located within the City Limits of Pocatello, Idaho, and encompasses street rights of way, alleyways, and backyard easements. In determining the lowest responsive bid, all acceptable bids will be considered on a basis consistent with the bid package, and whether the bidder is a responsible bidder. Before a contract is awarded, an investigation will be conducted to determine the performance record and ability of the apparent low bidder to perform the size and type of work specified. Upon request, the Bidder shall submit information deemed necessary to evaluate qualifications. All bids must be signed and accompanied by evidence of authority to sign. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashiers check, or cash in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal. The City of Pocatello reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive non-material irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal in the best interest of the City of Pocatello.
