Return bid to the Tarrant County Community Development Office, 2501 Parkview Drive, Suite 420, Fort Worth, Texas 76102, no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2025 to be considered a valid bid. Contracts must be signed within award date. Failure to do so will necessitate awarding contract to next lowest bidder. All applicable references to Basic General Specifications are incorporated. Specific Specifications are provided for items not covered in the Basic General Specifications. Contractor will furnish labor, materials, tools, machinery, and supervision necessary to perform the specified work required in connection with their bid. Implied work, work specified and not shown on drawing or drawn and not specified will be executed as if fully described in both ways; and any work or materials which are not directly noted in the specifications or drawings but are necessary for the performance of the obvious intentions thereof are to be understood as implied work and will be provided for by the contractor as fully as if specifically described or drawn. ELECTRICAL: - Install new three-wire, grounded 200-amp service with matching meterbase and main breakers. Label all breakers. Service must comply with utility company requirements and local electrical code. (Homeowner is responsible for disconnect and reconnect fees) - Install/Replace four (4) new wirelessly connected smoke detectors with 10 year lithium battery supply, UL-approved or equal. One in hallway and one in each bedroom. - Install battery powered carbon monoxide detector in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. (Garage, hallway, living room with fuel burning appliance/fireplace) - Check all fixtures, switches, and outlets for proper installation and operation. - Install 220V circuit with a/c disconnect and electrical whip for exterior condenser. - Install grounded electrical outlet next to gas furnace to include wiring, box, duplex outlet and cover plate. - Replace electrical service riser with new weatherhead to include new roof jack. - Replace 4 existing outlets above countertop with GFCI duplex outlets and cover plates in the kitchen. - Install dedicated 110V 20A circuit with GFCI duplex outlet and cover plate for microwave in kitchen. - Install dedicated 110V 20A circuit with duplex outlet and cover plate for refrigerator in kitchen. - Install new 110V 20A circuit to include breaker, wiring, electrical box, GFCI duplex outlet and cover plate in hallway bathroom & master bath.
