The work consists of providing labor and materials for glass repair, replacement, and installation for all properties owned and/or operated by the White Plains City School District. Bids must be presented using the forms provided in the Bid Documents and in the manner specified by the Instructions to Bidders, Bidding Procedures and Requirements, Qualifications of Bidders, Specifications, and Technical Specifications. Each bid must include a bid security in the amount of $500.00, which can be a bid bond, certified company check, or bank check payable to the White Plains Board of Education. All bids must be submitted in sealed, opaque envelopes clearly marked with the bid number and title. Bids must remain firm for forty-five days after opening. The Board of Education reserves the right to waive informalities, technical defects, irregularities, and omissions, request additional information, reject any or all bids, accept parts of bids from more than one bidder, and consider experience, service, reputation, financial responsibility, and specific qualifications in their evaluation and award process.
