Site work for a golf course in Plano, Texas. Working plans call for site work for a 17,500-square-foot golf course.

The City of Allen, Texas is seeking a Design / Build firm (the "D/B") to perform typical and complete design / build services in conjunction with the design and construction of Facility Renovations at The Courses of Watters Creek and its other associated facilities working with the City staff and any appropriate consultants. Question Deadline 03/19/2026 at 2:00 PM CT, All questions or requests for interpretation / clarification must be submitted electronically via the "Questions" tab for this RFQ on the City's eBid system Project Scope: 1) The scope of services is to provide design and construction services for the Facilities at The Courses of Watters Creek Renovations and its other associated facilities while working in conjunction with City staff and any appropriate consultants. The Courses at Watters Creek is a multi-faceted municipal golf facility that includes a clubhouse with a grill and pro shop, a driving range, and a mid-course food and beverage stop known as The Turn. The City seeks to modernize and enhance these revenue-driven amenities through a comprehensive master plan and phased improvements delivered through a design-build approach. Under this method, the selected team will be responsible for providing both design and construction services, which may require subcontracted architects, engineers, contractors, or other vendors. The City is open to team structures that demonstrate strong coordination, clear accountability, and expertise relevant to the project. Phase 1 implementation will include the complete tear-down and rebuild of The Range, incorporating innovative technology to drive engagement or enhance maintenance/operations, expanded programming opportunities, improved flow and parking, and a small food and beverage service area. Phase 1 implementation will also include a facelift of The Turn to align with the new design direction. The following are work tasks assumed necessary to complete this Project. The scope includes:Master Planning for: o The Turn (facelift) o The Clubhouse (remodel) o The Range (tear-down and rebuild) • Phase 1 Construction for: o The Range: Full demolition and redevelopment with emphasis on: Maximizing participation and programming Creative use of technology (including robotic ball picking, Toptracer, etc.) Improved flow, site navigation, parking, and patron experience New light food and beverage area with seating, including a small kitchen Improved site lines/facility visibility for staff oversight Flexible multipurpose space for programming, instruction, club fitting/repair, etcThe Turn: Cosmetic and functional upgrades to concession and restrooms facilities • Floodplain considerations: Design and construction must account for existing floodplain conditions and comply with all applicable regulations and permitting requirements. • Specific items in the renovation design and construction consist of the following elements but not limited to: o New doors, storefront and finishes as required o Additional mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, etc. for functional areas and support spaces as needed o Additional technology, public address, networking, security, and other systems as needed o Exterior work as required to support the renovations Bid is cancelled
