Louisville Water Company is requesting Bids for the supply and installation of approximately 1,120 linear feet of six (6) inch PC350 Ductile Iron Water Main using traditional trench installation techniques. The project includes the supply and installation of two (2) fire hydrants, and the supply and transfer, renewal, relocation, or discontinuation of 48 customer services. The work also involves fire hydrant removal, main cut and plugs, and restoration on and along the project limits. The contractor will supply and install all materials required for the completion of this project. Bidders must submit all questions or inquiries through the designated web-based portal, and must use the specified bid documents available either via download or hardcopy from Lynn Imaging. A Bid Bond is required as the contract value estimate exceeds $250,000. Bids will only be accepted from Bidders who are participants in the Louisville Water Small Business Equity (SBE) Program and have been pre-qualified by the Company in the appropriate pre-qualification categories. Pre-qualification requirements: Bidders must be pre-qualified in all of the following categories: 4" - 16" Ductile Iron Water Mains and 1" & Smaller Water Services.
