The County of Orange, OC Public Works is soliciting proposals for a Job Order Contract (JOC) for Electrical Services. Respondents must be qualified firms capable of providing electrical services as identified in the Scope of Work and must meet the minimum qualifications and requirements as set forth. The County will utilize a Unit Price Book with preset Unit Prices and has selected The Gordian Group’s Job Order Contracting Solution, which includes their proprietary information management system, applications, construction cost data, and Construction Task Catalog. Contractors are required to use these tools solely for the purpose of fulfilling contract obligations, including preparation and submission of job order proposals and other requirements specified by the County. Only bidders prequalified during the first step of the process were invited to participate in the second step of the Request for Proposals. The contract will be awarded based on best value as determined by the County's plans and specifications for typical work. Proposals must be submitted electronically via the County’s online bidding system. Facsimile and e-mail proposals will not be accepted. Questions must be submitted electronically by the specified deadline, and respondents must not contact other County personnel regarding this solicitation.
