Work to be performed generally includes construction of approximately 14,500 linear feet of a new 12-inch raw water transmission pipeline (HDPE) connecting the Bison Park Reservoir and Victor Reservoir #2 to the City of Victor raw water system. The project includes pipeline installation along rural roadway and off-road corridors, horizontal directional drilling under wetland, open cut across creek crossings, an open cut crossing of County Highway 81, associated isolation valves, air release valves in vaults and appurtenances, an 8-inch meter in CIP vault with bypass (instrumentation and controls by Owner), clearing and grubbing, trenching and backfill, roadway restoration, and coordination with environmental and right-of-way requirements. Work also includes maintaining service continuity during construction, post installation testing, and restoring disturbed areas in accordance with project specifications. Bids shall be made on the forms furnished by the Owner, enclosed in a sealed envelope, and endorsed with the name of the Bidder. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond in the full amount of the Contract Price. A 5% Bid Bond will be required. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive any informality, technicality or irregularity in any Bid, disregard non-conforming, non-responsive, conditional or alternate Bids, negotiate contract terms with the successful Bidder, and require statements or evidence of Bidders' qualifications, including financial statements.
