The sidewalk reconstruction work includes rebuilding the section of sidewalk as marked on site, rebuilding the roadway (watercourse) to a width of 375 mm, replacing the turf and restoring private driveways with asphalt, decorative stone, concrete pavers or concrete. The lengths of the sections will vary, and the widths of the existing pavements range from 1.2 meters to 1.6 meters. The City may request that a section of pavement be rebuilt wider than the existing pavement. Delivery schedule Work on the first batch of 2026 is expected to begin, weather permitting, in late April or early May. The second batch is then expected to be completed in August or September. If there is a third, smaller batch, it should be completed by 6 November.
