Site work and renovation of a civil project in Nashua, New Hampshire. Completed plans call civil work for a water / sewer project.
The work involves recoating three adjacent locations: loading dock steel components, screenings garage steel columns, and concrete coating work of several nearby structures (to be bid as an alternate). The first two areas include metal support structures that need to be recoated. There are three concrete tanks and a nearby retaining wall requiring concrete coating. The exterior concrete walls of the tanks are currently covered with a peeling cementitious coating. Alternate bid items include removing the deteriorated coating and applying a new one as specified, and cleaning, repairing, and sealing the loading dock concrete deck. The project specifies a completion time of 130 days for substantial completion and 160 days for final completion, with liquidated damages for delays. The City reserves the right to reject any bids, waive irregularities, accept exceptions, award contracts, or cancel the request.
