Site work for a water / sewer project in Harrison, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Separate sealed bids are requested for furnishing all supervision, materials, labor, tools, equipment, and appliances necessary for the construction of The City Landfill at Birchwood Area 3, Phase 2 Liner. The scope of work consists of, but is not limited to, mass excavation including stockpiling materials; clearing, grubbing, and subgrade preparation; grinding vegetation into mulch and spreading; construction of gravel access road; furnishing and installation of reinforced concrete pipe for stormwater diversion; furnishing and installation of the leachate collection system, HDPE gravity piping and manhole; lining of the Phase 2 area with 2-foot-thick clay liner, bentonite drainage geocomposite layer, 60-mil HDPE FML, 12-ounce non-woven filter fabric, 12-inch-thick stone drainage layer, and 6-ounce non-woven filter fabric; construction of one new ground water monitoring well; installation of gas probes; and erosion control. All bidders must be licensed and shall comply with all requirements of the State of Tennessee Contractor's Licensing Act.
