The Village of Oriskany Falls is seeking proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide complete Housing Condition Analyses and Report plus Grant Administration for their recently awarded CDBG Community Planning Survey Grant. The purpose is to analyze the current housing situation within the Village and identify opportunities for future housing projects. The selected consultant will be responsible for conducting a thorough Housing Needs Survey, including: • Analyzing current housing stock and demographics • Identifying housing trends and projections • Assessing affordability and accessibility of housing • Evaluating the impact of existing policies on housing development • Engaging with residents, local businesses, and government officials • Developing a comprehensive Housing Policy Framework with viable implementation strategies • Presenting the main findings and a summary of the report to the Village Board and residents Proposals must include: • Statement of qualifications, including identification of at least three similar programs that have been administered • Current and projected workloads • Capability to meet timeline and budget requirements • Identity and qualifications of professional personnel to be assigned to the project Proposals will be evaluated based on consultant qualifications, proposed methodology and work plan, qualifications of professional personnel, capability to meet time and budget requirements, and cost proposal.
