A Unified Bid is requested for all work in this project, including General, Mechanical, and Electrical Construction work for the IU 20250502 - BL177 Musical Arts Center Roof Replacement Phase 2. Bids must be submitted electronically and in full accord with the Bidding Documents. Each bid must be accompanied by a completed Minority, Women's and Veteran's Business Enterprise Participation Plan detailing good faith efforts to include these enterprises as subcontractors or material suppliers, a bid security for 5% of the total bid, and the contractor's written drug testing program compliant with IC 4-13-18. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in bidding, and may consider a bid incomplete if it lacks the required documentation. The Base Bid may be held for up to sixty days before awarding contracts, with Alternate Bids being held for up to ninety days before award and incorporation. Should a successful Bidder withdraw or fail to execute a satisfactory Contract within ten days after notice of acceptance, the Owner may declare the Bid Security forfeited as liquidated damages, not as a penalty. Question Deadline 03/09/2026 Request for interpretation, correction or clarification of the Bidding Documents shall be in writing to the Owner's Representative. Each Bidder shall examine the Bidding Documents carefully and, not later than ten (10) days prior to the date of receipt of bids, shall make written request for interpretation or correction of any ambiguity, inconsistency or error therein which it may discover.
