Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Gassville, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Furnishing labor, equipment, materials, supplies, and supervision necessary to rehabilitate an existing elevated water storage tank (250,000-Gallon) by removing and replacing the exterior paint system, performing miscellaneous repairs, and installing a mixing system. Bidders are expected to inspect the site of work and to inform themselves of all local conditions. The time of completion shall be sixty (60) working days excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays. Arkansas State Contractor Licensing Law applies, with both contractors and subcontractors required to be licensed. Bids must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, or an acceptable bid bond of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds, each in the amount of the contract, written by a responsible surety company authorized to do business in Arkansas. The City of Gassville reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities, and to award the contract to the bidder offering the proposal in the best interest of the City. Contractors are advised that any party proposed for a subcontract must be acceptable to the Owner.
