Nabholz Construction Services-Little Rock is accepting Specialty Subcontractor and Supplier proposals for the NLRSD - Phase 1- 7th and 8th Grade project in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The project includes the building package for a new 7th and 8th grade building of approximately 84,000 SF, which will house around 32,000 SF of educational classrooms, along with multiple shop and vocational areas, business areas, restrooms, common corridors, and accessory storage areas. Trade Packages for Concrete, Structural and Miscellaneous Steel, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing are included in this bid invitation. Bids must be submitted on a lump sum basis using required Bid Forms. Proposals are to be submitted in accordance with the requirements of the Construction Manager’s Manual. Bidders must comply with regulatory and licensing requirements of the State of Arkansas and other applicable Arkansas statutes. A 5% Bid Bond is required for bids over $150,000, made out to Nabholz Construction. All safety regulations (federal, state, local) and Construction Manager policy must be followed. There is a strict NO SUBSTANCE ABUSE policy, and tobacco use is prohibited on the project site. The Construction Manager reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality or irregularity in any bid. Minority Owned Businesses (MBE) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE), including women, minority, disabled or veteran-owned businesses, are encouraged to submit a proposal or bid. Virtual Building Design practices will not be required for this project.
