The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is an agency within the Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) system. The Procurement and Contracting Services (PCS) division of HHSC administers IFBs for HHS. Remodel two lobby restrooms at 303 East 11th Street, Mt. Pleasant, TX. Competitive bids are sought to establish contracts for this restroom remodel project. Bidders are required to attend a mandatory on-site visit at the specified location. Attendance at one site visit is mandatory and failure to attend in person will result in disqualification. Bidders not listed on the attendance log will not be allowed to submit a response. Notification of attendance must be given to the on-site contact. Bidders must check in at the reception desk at the facility for the mandatory on-site visit. Remodel two (2) lobby restrooms. 2. All items installed must meet The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. 3. Contractor must provide three (3) product samples of paint, floor and wall tiles, sinks, transition strips, vanity mirrors, toilets/urinals, toilet paper dispensers, paper towel dispensers, restroom stall partitions, soap dispensers, sanitary napkin dispenser, and toilet seat cover dispenser to the HHS representative to approve prior to installation. 4. Lobby restrooms must be functional the next business day. b) Women's Lobby Restroom 1. Remove the existing sinks and install two (2) new sinks with two (2) new touchless faucets. 2. Remove the existing floor tiles and install new ceramic floor tiles. 3. Remove existing wall tiles and install new ceramic wall tiles 4. Remove existing transition strip and install one (1) new transition strip. 5. Remove existing vanity mirrors and install two (2) new vanity mirrors. 6. Remove existing toilets and install two (2) new commercial-grade toilets. 7. Remove the existing handrail and install one (1) new handrail in the ADA accessible stall. 8. Remove existing paper towel holder and install one (1) new wall mounted touchless paper towel holder. 9. Remove existing soap dispenser and install one (1) new wall mounted touchless foam soap dispenser. 10. Remove existing stall partitions and install two (2) new stall partitions. 11. Remove existing toilet paper dispensers and install one (1) new dual roll toilet paper dispenser in each restroom stall. 12. Install new wall mounted sanitary napkin receptacle in each restroom stall. 13. Install new wall mounted toilet seat cover dispenser in each restroom stall. 14. Remove existing baby changing station and install one (1) new baby changing station. 15. The Contractor shall haul off and dispose of waste material to an off-site location, at no extra cost to HHSC. d) Men's Lobby Restroom 1. Contractor shall Install the following: i. one (1) new sink with one (1) new touchless faucet. ii. new ceramic floor tiles. iii. new ceramic wall tiles. iv. one (1) new transition strip. v. one (1) new vanity mirror. vi. one (1) new commercial grade toilet. vii. two (2) new commercial grade urinals. viii. one (1) new wall mounted touchless foam soap dispenser. ix. one (1) new wall mounted touchless paper towel dispenser. 2. Remove existing stall partitions and install one (1) new stall partition and two (2) new urinal partitions. 3. Remove the existing handrail and install one (1) new handrail in the ADA accessible stall. 4. Install one (1) new dual roll toilet paper dispenser in restroom stall. 5. Install one (1) new wall mounted toilet seat cover dispenser in restroom stall. 6. Remove existing baby changing station and install one (1) new baby changing station.
