Work includes demolition, removal, and proper disposal of existing concrete sidewalks, playground curbs and surfacing, and playground equipment. Limited erosion control measures will be implemented to protect surrounding areas during construction, and tree protection measures will be installed to preserve existing trees within and adjacent to the project site. Improvements include installation of new concrete sidewalks and playground curbing, and associated site grading to ensure proper drainage and accessibility and coordination for new 2-5 and 5-12 playgrounds. The project also includes installation of new landscaping and an irrigation system to support plant establishment and enhance the overall functionality and aesthetics of the playground area. Construction is expected to take 90 calendar days.
