Renovation of a water / sewer project in Glasgow, Montana. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Existing excitation systems at Fort Peck Dam require modernization due to aging equipment, partial legacy upgrades, and obsolescence of critical control components. Powerhouse 1 Units 1-3 have serviceable digital excitation regulator hardware, but front-end excitation controls, field breakers, and operator interface components are obsolete or unreliable, and the Government is considering targeted modernization that replaces failing or obsolete front-end components while reusing existing regulator hardware and cubicles with necessary modifications. Powerhouse 2 Units 4-5 contain legacy excitation components operating beyond their recommended design life, and the Government is considering full replacement of these excitation systems, including removal of existing equipment and installation of new digital static excitation systems. This notice is for market research only to assess contractor capability, interest, and potential acquisition strategies.
