Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Kilgore, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project consists of the construction of a new 3,593 square yard hot-mix asphaltic concrete (HMAC) parking lot with approximately 822 linear feet of 24-inch wide by 6-inch tall concrete curb and gutter, located south of Kay Street and west of Highway 259 in Kilgore, Texas. Demolition of existing asphalt and concrete pavement along with a segmental block retaining wall is necessary for the project and has been listed as an alternate in the plans and bid sheets. Bidders must submit a bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the maximum bid price, which includes the base bid and all alternates, in the form of a certified check, bank money order, or a bid bond. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds as well as proof of insurance in accordance with the contract agreement. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional bids. Bids will remain subject to acceptance for 60 days after the bid opening. Question Deadline 03/05/2026 Requests for clarification may be directed to Clayton R.
