Base Bid: New asphalt parking lot with concrete curb at north end of property at Parrish Elementary School. Also included will be the removal of existing trees and installation of new landscaping. Alternate Bid: Provide concrete paving with WWF reinforcement in lieu of asphalt paving. Bidders may submit bids for project as described. Submit bids according to the Instructions to Bidders. Bids will be received for a General Contract (all trades). Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount must be submitted with each bid. No bids may be withdrawn for 60 days after opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive informalities and irregularities. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. Bidders must comply with State of Illinois statutes requiring prevailing wage rates for all laborers, workmen, and mechanics, as well as all other applicable statutes.
