The project is part of the City's long-range electric system planning efforts and is intended to increase substation capacity and improve system reliability to accommodate forecasted load growth. The work under this contract is limited to equipment procurement and preparatory construction necessary to support future system expansion and full commissioning under subsequent work. The Scope of Work includes the procurement, delivery, installation, and securement of major substation equipment, including a 22.4 MVA power transformer (T2), a 69 kV circuit breaker (Breaker No. 4), a Power Control Room (PCR) Building addition, and 15 kV metal-clad switchgear to be installed within the PCR Building. The Contractor shall also construct all associated reinforced concrete foundations, equipment pads, oil containment systems, and related structural and civil improvements, as well as perform all incidental and ancillary work required to accommodate the installation of the specified equipment in accordance with the Contract Documents
