Sealed proposals will be received for asphalt and/or tack oil (fast flashing) material to be carried out over the 2026 construction season. The work consists of providing, hauling, and delivery of Asphalt Binder 58-28s for the 2026 construction season. Tack oil is for providing freight-on-board terminal or storage location for off-loading material into county vehicles, with the location denoted in the bid. There is no bid, performance, or payment bond requirement. Proposals must be submitted on Brown County Highway Department forms and specifications, which may be obtained from the Brown County website. Any proposal submitted after the specified date and time will be rejected. The Highway Department reserves the right to reject any or all proposals submitted, to accept any part or combination thereof, to waive any technicalities, to award multiple contracts, and to accept any proposal or multiple proposals deemed most advantageous to Brown County.
