This project consists of rehabilitating the existing single span (57-9) precast prestressed concrete deck beam bridge. This rehabilitation involves replacing the superstructure supported by spill-thru abutments. In-stream work includes placement of scour protection countermeasures at the existing abutments/wingwall slopes. Roadway improvements include reconstruction of the approach roadway. The Proposed Work Consists of Furnishing and Installing Erosion Control Blanket (97 Sq Yd), Stone Riprap Class A5 (56 Sq Yd), Filter Fabric (56 Sq Yd), Aggregate Base Course Type B (88 Ton), Aggregate Surface Course Type B (78 Ton), Removal of Existing Superstructure (1 Each), Concrete Removal (2.20 Cu Yd), Structure Excavation (30 Cu Yd), Concrete Structures (5.70 Cu Yd), Precast Prestressed Concrete Deck Beams 27-inch Depth (1,576 Sq Ft), Epoxy Coated Reinforcing Bars (910 Pound), Steel Railing Type S1 (121 Foot), Granular Backfill for Structures (17 Cu Yd), Geocomposite Wall Drain (18 Sq Yd), Concrete Headwalls for Pipe Drain (4 Each), Underdrains for Structure Type 4 (70 Foot), Mobilization (1 L Sum), Earth Excavation Special (43 Cu Yd), Seeding Class 2a Special (0.04 Acre), and Traffic Control and Protection Special (1 L Sum), All in Accordance With the Plans and Specifications.
