Mow and trim approximately six acres per cycle at the Clark County I-64 Rest Area (MP 98.041 eastbound). Perform mowing with commercial grade turf type mowing equipment (not less than 48" and not more than 72" in width; farm tractors with rotary finish mowers not allowed). Mow the grass to a minimum height of 3" and correct any uneven or streaked mowing immediately. Remove or disperse grass clippings if mowing is delayed and results in excessive debris. Trim after each mowing cycle, including around mulched areas, trees, picnic table pads, trash containers, curbs, signposts, and other obstacles. Blow or sweep clippings from concrete surfaces. Trim along concrete edges as needed to prevent encroachment. Use hand-held string trimmers or power edgers; herbicides are not to be used on sidewalks or curbs (except for growth in cracks). The Department will direct the timing and location of all operations. Only online bids will be accepted.
