Description

U.S. Forest Service is seeking to purchase three, with the possibility of a fourth, metal rectangular rigid water storage tanks intended for wildland fire suppression. The tanks must be large-capacity, steel, and open-top for storing water used by helicopters for water bucket dipping and reloading, as well as for fire engines and water tenders to draft water via a port located on the bottom end of the tank. Delivery should be scheduled for late May or early June. Attached pictures are provided only as visual aids and do not endorse any specific tank design.
