Bids are to be submitted in accordance with all terms, conditions, and pricing specified. The vendor must certify authority to bind the company in an agreement or contract to supply the commodity or service as specified. The bid, if accepted, will constitute an agreement and contract with Daviess County, Kentucky, upon approval. Prices are firm during the agreement term unless agreed otherwise in writing. Vendors are to mail one complete copy with vendor and bid information as shown in the sample, in a sealed envelope addressed to the Daviess County Fiscal Court, Attn: Purchasing Department, with the bid name indicated. I. SCOPE OF WORK: Daviess County Fiscal Court is seeking a qualified vendor to install recreational sports lighting on pickleball and basketball courts and one (1) baseball/softball field per the bid specifications and drawings at Stanley Park located at 7420 US Hwy 60 W, Owensboro, KY 42301. Plans and Specifications, Bid Documents, and Pictures can be obtained from the Specification Contact detailed on page 1 of this document. II. BID SECURITY: Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond made payable to the Daviess County Fiscal Court, in an amount no less than 5.0 % of the total bid price. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of 90 days after the date bids are opened. The bidder may withdraw their bid at any time prior to the time and date scheduled for the opening of same or any authorized postponement thereof. III. PERFORMANCE & PAYMENT BOND: The successful bidding contractor shall furnish a Performance Bond for the total amount of the bid price as security for the faithful performance of the contractor's obligations. The contractor must furnish the Performance Bond before the order to proceed with construction. The liquidated damages amount for failure to achieve substantial completion on or before the stated completion date on the Bid Form (Section 2.0) shall be $1,000.00 (One Thousand Dollars) for each calendar day of delay until the work is complete.
