Waimanalo Beach Park Comfort Stations Replacement, Job No. 25-p-03 on Oahu. No additional scope of work or bidder instructions are provided in the available text. Estimated Cost: $4,100,000.00 Question Deadline 03/09/2026 Requests for clarification regarding this bid solicitation shall be directed to Romona Maeshiro of the Division of Purchasing by email to bfspurchasinq@honolulu.gov. The CITY will accept requests for substitution submitted electronically to bfspurchasina@honolulu.gov Completion-(270) consecutive calendar days Mobilization including all preparatory work and operations, including, but not limited to movement of personnel, equipment, supplies and installing project sign; all other work and operations which must be performed or cost incurred prior to beginning work on the project site; and demobilization and removal of project sign. The maximum bid allowed for this item is an amount not to exceed six percent (6%) of the total of Item Nos. 2 through 9. Mobilization shall be made in accordance item 5.4.3, Mobilization of the General Terms and Conditions. The intent for the Comfort Stations is to demolish and replace the existing comfort stations at Waimanalo Beach Park with prefabricated and vandal-resistant construction within the existing footprint to adhere to minimal ground-disturbance. On the NorthWest side of the park, Comfort Station A will have restrooms, changing rooms, exterior sinks, drinking fountains, and a storage room to house Ocean Safety equipment. On the East side of the park, Comfort Station B will have restrooms, changing rooms, exterior sinks, drinking fountains, and a utility tub for public use. Both buildings will also have a central storage room to house Department of Parks and Recreation equipment. All lava rock on existing Comfort Station A will be salvaged and integrated in the new design. All existing concrete shower pads and portions of walkway by the Arts Building and the Campground locations will be replaced to meet ADA requirements. Electrical and Mechanical utility lines to the buildings are to be replaced. Structural will provide foundation design.
