Rehabilitation of Existing Lift Stations as part of the Wastewater System Improvements in the Town of Dewar. The work includes the installation of submersible pumps (some provided by the Town), new 4" base elbows, new upper guide rail brackets, by-pass pumping during construction, provision of working SCADA utilizing existing Sensaphone 400 units, replacement of power and sensor cables, installation of new climb barriers on existing fences, new stainless steel lifting chains with SS clevis, installation of new 6' chain link fence with climb barrier and gate, and installation of new check valves in existing valve vaults. Bidders are required to personally examine the work location, review the plans and specifications, and verify the work quantities. A bid bond amounting to 5% of the total bid is required as a guarantee. The successful bidder must enter into contract and provide required bonds within ten days of the notice of award. Bids cannot be withdrawn within 45 days after opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive irregularities, and only registered bidders who obtain plans and specifications from the listed engineering office will be recognized as eligible.
