Site work for a water / sewer project in Eastlake, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed bids for “Chagrin River Access 2026” will be received at Eastlake City Hall. The work involves dredging approximately 6,600 lineal feet of the Chagrin River from the river’s mouth at Lake Erie to 1/4 mile past the Lakeshore Blvd Bridge, approximately 3,100 lineal feet in the East Channel, and approximately 3,200 lineal feet in the West Channel. The work also includes setting up to twenty buoys as furnished. The dredging coordinator may make changes in bottom elevation or channel location as needed before or during the project. All bids must be sealed in individual envelopes, endorsed for “Chagrin River Access 2026,” addressed and delivered as specified. Bids must be on the forms provided. The awarding body intends to award the contract to the lowest and best bidder whose submission meets the requirements and does not exceed the available funds. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids, waive technical deficiencies or irregularities, request additional information or experience/equipment, and accept any bid deemed more favorable.
