Replacement of existing CI and steel water mains with new DI water mains on Pearl Street Place, Bay Road, Westwood Road, Talbot Street, Bell Street, Freeman Street, And Campanelli Parkway. The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the replacement of approximately 900 feet of 2-inch cast iron pipe on Pearl Place with new 8-inch ductile iron main (from Pearl Street to Cushing Street); replacement of 700 feet of 2-inch and 1.5-inch ductile iron pipe on Bay Road and Westwood Road with new 6-inch ductile iron main (192 Bay Road to the end of Westwood Road); replacement of 580 feet of 4-inch cast iron main on Talbot Street with new 8-inch ductile iron main (Lambert Avenue to Central Street); replacement of 280 feet of 2-inch cast iron pipe on Bell Street with 6-inch ductile iron main; replacement of 650 feet of 6-inch cast iron main on Freeman Street with new 8-inch ductile iron main (from the Fire Station to Hayden Street); and replacement of 2,200 feet of 10-inch ductile iron pipe with 12-inch ductile iron pipe on Campanelli Parkway (Turnpike Street to Shuan Avenue), including all services, valves, hydrants, fittings, and other appurtenances. Construction must be completed within 180 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed, excluding final paving.
