Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Rome, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a 9,210-square-foot transportation facility.
The project includes isolated areas of concrete pavement repairs within a portion of the Terminal Apron area. The concrete terminal aprons are remnants from the USAF and were constructed in the 1940s. Concrete cracks and spalled areas are evident and have created uneven pavement with loose aggregate, contributing to foreign object debris (FOD) concerns. Concrete pavement repairs will consist of partial depth spall repairs, isolated full depth repairs using PCC pavement, crack repair and joint sealant repair. Total concrete pavement repair area is approximately 9,210 SF. Bidders are responsible for all printing and shipping costs of plans and specifications, if necessary, for bid preparation. Bids must be submitted using the furnished proposal forms, including the entire proposal booklet in order, along with a deposit of 5% of the bid amount in the form of a bid bond or certified check payable to the County of Oneida. Performance and Material & Labor payment bonds for 100% of the bid price are required. Packages must be sealed, marked, and addressed as instructed, with the Bid Reference Number and project title clearly indicated. The owner reserves the right to revise contract documents by addenda and to reject any or all bids.
