Questions Due 03/11/2026 All questions and request for additional information should be directed to Emmett Orfan by email Emmett.Orfan@lcec.net Substation 1.1 Remove (46) existing concrete structures from Structure 2J003 to West Cape Substation. 1.2 Remove approximately 3.64 miles of 636 ACSR/AW. 1.3 Remove approximately 510ft of 1780ACSR/TW/AW 1.4 Remove approximately 3.74 miles of 7#9 Alumoweld wire. 1.5 Remove all facilities of existing structures marked for removal or replacement. 1.6 Install (38) new TPM-138R2 concrete structures (including flange connections) with direct embedment using crushed rock backfill. 1.7 Install (5) new TSM-138 S5-THETA steel structures with new caisson (drilled shaft) foundations. 1.8 Frame (38) new concrete structures with TM-1P-138L-1158, 138 kV Line Post Insulator Assembly. 1.9 Frame (5) new steel structures with TM-1-138A5-SIL-1158, 138 kV Double Dead-End Assembly. 1.10 Frame (2) existing steel structures (2J001A and 2J002) with TM-1-138A5-SIL-1158, 138 kV Double Dead-End Assembly. 1.11 Frame steel structure 2J001B with TM-1P-138S-1158, 138 kV Line Post Insulator Assembly. 1.12 Install approximately 3.76 miles of AFL DNO 3530 48-count fiber OPGW. 1.13 Install approximately 3.76 miles of 1158 ACSS 25/7 TW "Hudson" (Maximum operating temperature = 392F). 1.14 Install new overhead shield wire (7#9 Alumoweld) (1) from ahead span Burnt Store Substation to 2J001, (2) from ahead span Structure 2J043 to West Cape Substation Bus A, (2) from ahead span Structure 2J043A to West Cape Substation Bus C, and (1) from ahead span of West Cape Substation Bus B to Structure 2J050. 1.15 Install grounding and grounding rods for all new structures. 1.16 Return disturbed sidewalk to previous condition at Structures 2J033 and 2J042 after pole installation. 1.17 Transfer existing distribution conductors and equipment to transmission structures from 2J017 to 2J019. 1.18 Replace (3) existing concrete poles from 2J018 to 2J020 with distribution poles to house distribution service connections. 1.19 Relocate other Sub Surface Utilities or Utilities in conflict at locations as required (refer to SUE report). 1.20 Worksite must be restored exact to its pre-existing condition
