The Housing Authority of the City of Westwego (WHA) is soliciting competitive proposals to perform HVAC work. Respondents shall be Contractors licensed by the Louisiana State Licensing Board with a license classification in Building Construction, Residential Construction, or Mechanical work. Each proposal should demonstrate the Respondents capacity and readiness to perform the Scope of Services immediately upon execution of a Contract with the WHA. Also, each proposal should describe the Respondents previous experience and qualifications relative to the provision of such services. Once selected, the successful Respondent(s) will enter into an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract with the WHA to perform the required scope of services on an on-call basis, which will provide for the payment of labor and materials. The WHA administers three hundred units of housing in 137 single-story residential buildings. The WHA will issue Task Orders to the selected Respondent(s) on an as-needed basis. The WHA may also order a program of regular maintenance from the selected Respondent(s). The Housing Authority of the City of Westwego reserves the right to reject any or all proposals for just cause and to waive any informalities in the submission process if it be in the public interest to do so.
