The work involves providing for the collection and disposal of residential rubbish, refuse, garbage, and yard waste, as well as the collection, transportation, and delivery of residential recyclables generated within the City of Holland. Services are to be provided to all residential service users, including all single-family units and multiplex units up to four units, within the city. The agreement will be for a five-year term beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2031, with an option for the City to renew for an additional three years via competitive re-negotiation or to re-bid the contract. Each bidder must submit four hard copies and a PDF/USB of the bid proposal and related documents in a sealed envelope, clearly marked as specified. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid meeting is required for all prospective bidders; no bid will be accepted from a potential bidder who does not attend. Bids must comply with general requirements, including bid deposit, insurance, and an irrevocable letter of credit. All questions regarding the bid package are to be handled as instructed.
