Sealed bids are requested for a fencing project at Murdy Elementary School, McGarvin Intermediate School, Northcutt Elementary School, and Parkview Elementary School. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the bidders name, California State Contractors License Number, project name, and number. Bids must be submitted on the provided bid form and comply with requirements outlined in the "Information for Bidders." Each bid must include bid security of not less than ten percent of the total price, a completed Non-collusion Affidavit, and Designation of Subcontractors, all on the specified forms. The awarded contractor and all subcontractors must pay prevailing wage rates established by the state for the locality and post wage rates at each site. Attendance at a mandatory informational job walk and conference, starting at Parkview Elementary School, is required. Bids received at the designated location by the specified deadline will be publicly opened and read aloud.
