Site work for a civil project in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Harris County Water Control and Improvement District No. 74 is requesting bids for the rehabilitation of approximately 3,500 linear feet of sanitary sewer gravity pipes and 35 vertical feet of sanitary sewer manholes in several segmented locations throughout the Fairgreen Subdivision. The work to be performed under this project includes pipe bursting, manhole lining, point repairs, and the removal/disposal of slip line carrier pipe. Bids must be submitted in duplicate copies, sealed, and appropriately marked. All bidders are responsible for inspecting the site and informing themselves of all local conditions. A cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than 5% of the maximum bid price must accompany each bid as a guarantee of contract execution if awarded. Successful bidders must furnish performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price, issued by authorized surety companies. The project is federally funded and requires compliance with Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, Federal Labor Standards, Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action, Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968, and the Build America Buy America Act, among other contract requirements.
